The competition closes early if every entry is sold. If the minimum isn't reached by the closing date, the competition is cancelled and every entry is refunded in full to the original payment method.
How the winner is chosen: once the competition closes, one winning entry is drawn at random from every valid entry, paid and free alike. Prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance. Each entry has an equal chance: at least 1 in 12,862, currently 1 in 11,160.
Free entry route: Post your full name, the email address on your Car Lotto account and the car you want to enter to the address in the competition rules, by ordinary post. One entry per envelope. Free entries must arrive before the closing date. They go into the same draw, with the same chance of winning, as paid entries.
