Safer play
Play for fun. Stay in control.
Car Lotto follows the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators. These are the protections every player has.
- 18+ only
- Car Lotto is only for adults aged 18 or over. We check date of birth at sign-up and verify winners' identity and age before any prize is awarded.
- Spending limits
- Every player can set a monthly spending limit at sign-up, or must set one before their second entry. Limits can be as low as £0. Lower limits apply immediately; increases only apply after 24 hours.
- Credit card cap
- Credit card payments are limited to £250 per player per calendar month. Debit cards aren't affected. Car Lotto doesn't run instant-win competitions.
- Take a break
- Pause your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. A pause can't be cancelled early.
- Self-exclusion
- Self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. It can't be reversed early, and we stop all marketing while it's in place.
- Free entry
- Every competition can be entered free of charge. Free entries go into the same draw, with the same chance of winning. Details are shown on each car before you buy.
- Your chance of winning
- Every car shows the maximum number of entries, the entries sold and your chance with the entries you choose, before you pay.
- Transparent draws
- Winners are drawn at random, in accordance with the laws of chance. Each draw's record is published so anyone can check it.
- Responsible marketing
- Our advertising follows the CAP and BCAP codes. We never suggest that entering is a way out of financial or personal problems, and we never target under-18s.
- Complaints
- If something has gone wrong, contact our support team. We'll acknowledge your complaint and work with you to resolve it.
